Hyper X cloud II VS Plantronics GameCom 780

so i read lots of threads here on tomshardware about the Hyper X cloud II making crackling/popping and hissing and all sorts of things but still it features the detachable sound card and mic which makes it very versatile but when i read the full specs turns out the Total Harmonic Distortion is 2% which is not good (i think) then i read in one of the posts that they fixed the crackling by a software update (0005) which fixed it for some guys, the whole thing makes me confused because all the reviews on youtube said its so good so idont know should i go for it or just go for the latter, please help

I can only speak for the 780's. Had them for 3 years or so and they are still rockin! Besides sounding great, they are very comfortable.

does those cushions tend to make you feel hot? i've heard some guys say that and how good is the 7.1?

If they made me feel hot I would have said so. The dolby software is a bit tricky to get working on Windows 10 but after a bit of research, I figured it out and it works great.
