Hyper-X Cloud microphone issue

Hey guys. I have a weird issue with my Clouds microphone. When i plug the microphone to my headset and then to the front of my PC Case the microphone doesnt respond, and here is the weird thing im plugging in the microphone directly to the PC Case without the headset and the microphone actually does work!

Another thing i tried is to plug the headset with the microphone installed on the rear to the motherboard and works but with some noise.. How can it work with the microphone installed and plugged in on the rear and cant work on front? Plus the microphone is working if i put it directly in the front of the case without the headset..

One quick question as well: If i buy a USB Hub with Audio will the HyperX Cloud will work? Im asking because the USB Hub can connect only via USB Port.
