I accidently dropped my laptop and turned it on and it says "no bootable device"

Solution
Dropping an HDD from any height is enough to shock it and brick it forever. The platter alignment and the tiny reader heads on the arms have to function in perfect harmony, and dropping it is the best way to ruin it. You've bricked your hard drive; get a new one.

You said it said no boot device? If there is no display then its most likely a monitor fault. When I say go inside the laptop, I mean to check the physical wiring of your hard drive.
