I am having a keyboard problem

I have a acer laptop with windows 7 in it. Now a days i have been having problems with it. whenever I On it after Shutting down,it does not show the desktop.The desktop has to be started manually
and keyboard also is not working properly, the keys that i press and one that shows on the screen are different.Please help me
