i am locked out of my Acer laptop forgot password

When i turn my Acer laptop on it is saying harddisk security what can I do

sounds like some one went in the bios and put a password on the hard drive

you may have to take it to acer with proof of purchase

That is a hard disk bios password. You have to call acer.
