I am using hp compaq6910p, I bought ddr2 2gb 800mhz ram and installed but I was supposed to use 667mhz ,I bought this accidentally, now because of this my computer is not working , I tried replacing my old ram but all my efforts were in vain, can I know how to fix this problem ?

Get the right speed RAM, should work then. Best thing to do is go to a site like www.crucial.com and get the RAM their memory configuration shows is compatible with your computer, it's then guaranteed to work.
