I got it working!!
Actually I have tried so many things that I am not exactly sure what did
it.....
The 2 most importnat things I changed were these
- In 'Connections' I chose the 'Advaced' TAB en chose 'Select Networks' and
set the first (Programs that automatically connect to the internet should
connect using

to "Bluetooth settings" instead of My work Network or My
ISP.
- In the connection settings I chose the TAB 'Proxy settings' and I
unchecked the option 'This network uses a proxy server to connect to the
internet'.
Besides that, I first tried to connect to the internet with my iPAQ in the
cradle, i.e. via ActiveSync. After the internetpages loaded fine there I
made above modifications and now it works!
Thanks for all the tips.
