I can see all my files but they are not lighted up its as if the light is off

Computer will turn on but no light on screen I can see the files barely but no light

Is this a laptop or desktop? If it is a laptop, your display backlight has failed. Connect an external monitor. You may be able to find YouTube videos of replacing the backlight. It will probably require soldering.
