I can view the pictures on my file and my camera but does not show whenever I try to upload it on my social medias

I can still see the pictures in my camera (I have the canon t3i) anf I downloaded the pictures in my laptop and i am able to view it. But whenever I try to post these pictures on facebook or try to email it says that the file/pictures are not there... Is there something wrong with my SD card?? Its my first time using it. PLEASE HELP ME.

Yes, I actually imported the pictures onto my laptop and I can still view them on my laptop and camera. But whenever I try to upload those pictures on facebook, the file is empty.

copy the pictures from the file on you're laptop into another folder, see if that fixes it, or try uploading them straight off the SD via the laptop, instead of using the imported ones

well that's odd, when you go to select the files, can you find them to upload then you get an error or are the folders just empty?

what format are the pictures in? sometimes facebook will be looking for 1 type of file, in the bottom right of the windows explorer window, there is a drop down menu, change that to all file types, see if that helps
