I cannot see the indivual phots on my computer as the generic icon does not change

I slot in my sd card and the photos show as the generic icon until I view the pics in the viewing mode I want to see the pics as individual photos to be able to choose which photos go in which folder but can't do this in the viewing mode how do I get over this problem?

Right click in the folder on the SD Card, view, tiles.

Some SD cards wont show the tile view, its easier to just copy all the photos over to your PC and then delete the ones you dont need.
