I cant capture pictures with my nikon digital camera d70s

Hello,
Whenever I try to capture the picture, nothing happens and on the screen all there is a blinking F--

I think it refers to a lens error, ie body and lens are unable to communicate. Try removing and reattaching the lens or cleaning the lens and body contacts.
