I cant get back to only my laptop screen

i have connected my hp laptop to my tv via a hdmi cord when i take out the hdmi cord the tv and my laptop screen goes black. what should i do

Hello.

Have you shut down the laptop, unplugged the HDMI cord, then started the laptop again? This should solve your issue. If not, your laptop LCD screen might be defective.

If you can't shut it down, try using this key sequence:
WINDOWS KEY + P
Press it multiple times till the picture comes back to only the laptop screen.
