I can't play my dvd on the remote disk drive on my ASUS chrome book

Although connected by my USB, the dvd remote player is not recognized by my ASUS chrome book and thus cannot be accessed for play back. The remote dvd does work on another laptop. I downloaded media player classic, but after downloading, I didn't know what to do.

Go to the Play Store and search for a DVD player. Wondershare Player is probably as good as any other.
