I forgot my BIOS password

He said "bios" not "log on" password. As in, bios settings. You can still use the computer, just can't change the "bios" settings.

 


It does not matter. Tom's TOS do not allow any help bypassing passwords.

Also BIOS password protection is frequently employed by users in order to protect themselves in the event of a lost or stolen PC. If said thief were to access the BIOS, change the boot device, and re-install Windows, they'd then have a fully functioning PC. Simply password protecting your user account is not enough these days.

@OP, as suggested, call the manufacturer and request assistance. You'll more than likely need to be able to prove ownership of the device, so I hope you kept the receipt and or packaging. You won't get any help with this here.
