I get no sound in my headset's left ear pice when I'm on my Laptop, but it works find on my Ipad.

So I recently had my laptop sent of to be fixed. It came back today working fine, but when I put my headphones in, I only got sound from the right side. My headphones have broken before like this, so I just assumed it was a connection problem. But when I tap on the side the sound doesn't come back like it would do if it was a connection issue.

I've tried two different pairs of headphones, both have the same problem. So it must be a problem with my laptop.

If anyone could help me fix this that would be fantastic!

Sounds like the headphone jack on the laptop is either broken or mechanically binding. A bad solder connection at the jack could also be the fault. Maybe due to a problem when they reassembled the laptop. Call the repair facility and have them make it right.

As said it sounds like a faulty socket on the laptop. The cheapest fix I can think of is getting a USB soundcard
