The same thing happened to me, only my account never got restored. Funny they go on about the Santa Clara Principles on their transparency site, but then don't actually follow any of them.

I know plenty of other people who have got the same treatment, it seems like X is quietly censoring its content by silently purging undesirables, in your case they made a mistake and cancelled someone with a public profile, and restored your account when they found out.

Many, many others are not so lucky. There's a story here that someone needs to investigate.

They said my account has been suspended for violating the X Rules due to a user report.
Specifically, for: Violating our rules against evading suspension.
???? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN ??? I am in shock. I have only been on there for 12 days and somebody complains about the information/reports/data I post and Mr. Musk supposedly stands for freedom of speech.

I already in April had the same thing done by facebook permanently disabled my account. I am one of ? millions of people posting information that differs from the global government narratives and X and facebook disable your accounts !!! That's not freedom of speech. It's disgraceful - that they suspend / disable you because of another user complaining about your information posts !!! which they clearly disagree with. The people of the world are in real trouble with our voices being strangled.
I'm in shock still. I haven't heard back from X so it doesn't look like they are going to unsuspend my account (so much for freedom of speech).
