Take it apart and check the connections as the first step. If that fails may be a bad screen you need to replace.

Not sure what the Fn Alt and other buttons have anything to do with the issue, what were you saying there?

if your screen is going on and off, this is an issue with the screen connection. Maybe the wires are damaged.

Before trying to repair take into account the price of laptop and repair cost. may be just better off buying a new laptop. or connecting to a monitor.
