I have 32 inch vizio hooked along with ROKU. The pictgure from dish network is cut off at the bottom. The picture thru ROKU is fine, When I click on guide, in dish, the term dual mode is shown at the top left side, then goes away.

also possible you need to set the dish box to the right resolution of your tv. often they default to lower res outputs for compatibility reasons. may require you to manually set it to the right resolution so you can get the full picture.

How is this done and where?

it will be in the set-up menu for the dish cable box hooked to the tv. i don't have dish anymore so i'd be guessing where it is but it is normally under something like "video settings" or something like that. should be a number of resolution options to ensure it works with most any tv. make sure it is set to your tv's resolution. it likely already is if you had it professionally installed. but always worth a look in case it was missed on install.
