Have a flatscreen tv with Roku 3 attached. We are looking to replace another tv with a flatscreen, which just happens to be exactly one the other side of the same wall.
How can I get the new room to work off the same Roku 3 box?
If not possible, then what type of tv should we purchase to at least share our Netflix?

You just need need an HDMI distribution amplifier to split the HDMI out of the ROKU. A cable will not work
