I have a Dell inspiron 15 7000 series 7559 which is non touch screen, can I upgrade the screen to a touch screen.

I bought it in Australia when they hadn't released the touch screen version and they don't have very different specs and the two do not seem to have different drivers. If I could find the right screen for it could i change it to a touch screen? The only difference is that the touch screen is 4k

I could be corrected but I personally don't think this would be possible as a touch screen would have to have a different driver. And the hardware on the new version would be much more suited to running the 4K screen.

According to the dell website, there seems to be no major difference between the two and the drivers for both the 4k touch screen version and non touch screen version are the same.
