I have a Nikon coolpix b500 and my amazon reccomended SD card wont work the camera says the card cannot be used - how do I fix

You did not say how big is your card. It might happen your camera does not support UHS cards. Get something smaller, like 8/16gb, to test. You can also ask Nikon support whether your card is supported.

Are you using a class 10 card? Just my tuppence worth.. I have had a few nightmares with card class issues.
