Solved! i have a nw-800 microphone and my windows 10 laptop cant find it!!

ok so I get this microphone to use and when I get it I plug it Into my wondows 10 dell laptop.... and nothing happens other than it saying "you plugged a device into a audio jack" please help!!

Are you sure the jack is input or both input/output? If it is output only, it won't work in that jack.
