I have a older Harman/Kardon AVR10 receiver and want to hook up my Minix box is this possible ?

My receiver only has plug in capability no Hdmi conections is there a way to connect into Hdmi port on my Minix box?

Option 1. Use an HDMI input selector with audio extraction like this one

Option 2. Use the audio output of the TV to connect the HK. Optical audio is the most common TV audio output.
