I have a problem installing and opening MATLAB

So i have recently installed Matlab2012b on my computer but i don't seem to find the files in the path i chose.
I chose the partition E: for installation not C: could that be the problem?

Any error messages during installation or attempted launch?

You may have missed a step in the installation process.

Trusting that your software is properly licensed start over and carefully follow the installation process here:

Failing that then contact MathWorks support.
