Hello guys, today i came here as i'm experiencing a few problems with my old Advent, it contains very valiable information and memories to me, it's unusable, but i was wondering if i could do something with the hardrive, somehow swap it with another laptop or install it into my PC so i could get the information, upload it to download it on my original hardrive?

Much would be apprechiated, also i have never used tomshardware, i'm presuming this is the right section?

Just remove it then connect it to a working system

Either with IDE or a SATA cable

Alright mate, thank you, i have the knowledge on computers, i know many coding languages, but yet i do not know how to work a computer, worrying, thank you, again.

No probs. Just make sure after you connect it the main hdd is the bootdisk in the BIOS. So it boots again
