Solved! I have a rca 32 inch flat screen tv and there is no picture on most of the chanbels the only channel i can see is eastlink on

sounds like its a problem with your TV providers equipment and not the TV. if you have any other devices connected to your TV and you don't get a black screen on them then this would be why
