I have a Sylvania plasma tv when I turn tv on it flashes from green to red sometimes it will come on

I have a Sylvania Plasma TV it is 11 years old. Out of nowhere, went to turn tv on and it flashed from green to red. Sometimes if you keep pushing on it will come on. Other times you can keep trying to turn it on it will stay on red. Then we unplug the tv for about 10/15 minutes then plug it back up and try again. You can hear a clicking sound like it is trying to cut on but it doesn't. TV has an awesome picture never by problem until this. Also, we have always used remote control to turn it off and on. Any info at all on what I might could do to save the tv or is it useless. Thank you, Marilyn

First guess would be power supply. Given the age of the TV I would say if has died a natural death. I doubt there are any replacement boards available and getting a tech to look at it would be a waste of money. As nice as plasma is at some things overall you will end up with a better picture with a modestly priced new set. It's the right time of the year to get an awesome deal. An LG OLED would be your best option if you can swing it. Don't expect any new set to last as long as your old one. They just don't make them like that anymore.
