I have a Toshiba 55 smart tv

I have a Toshiba 55 smart tv , when I plug the tv in the wall . The red light comes on. And remains red , no blinking . When push the power button , the red light goes away but there no sound or picture display. Can anyone help me

Are you using a cable box too? If yes, check if it's turned on too. Check it with the remote of the cable box and push the power button. Check also the remote of the TV if the source is correct, select the ones you are using.
