Will it boot to Windows? If so, install CPU-Z and use it (likely the mainboard tab) to identify the model.

As part of the keyboard is a add on, like some type of player with digital read out.
Any idea ? Thanks

How about posting a picture(s) of the laptop? Is there a label on the bottom of it or under the battery?
