I have a ZTE Zephyr from straight talk phone and for some reason after I charge it it dies then when I try to turn it back on

Also when it's finished charging I will unplug it and hold down the power button and it will say it dead and won't turn on all the way.

Try a different charger/cable/battery. If none of those help, phone needs to be replaced.
