I have an acer 4520 laptop with power on problems

the laptop can not on.. when i try to on it, it only shut down again after a 'beep' sound. i try to use the battery and also the AC adapter, but still can not on. what should i do? i just change the motherboard.

Verify that your processor/video card heatsink assembly are properly mounted and are working. Also, are you 100% that the motherboard you installed is functional?
