Ardy, Sorry but you give so little information it is real tough to help you! Almost all modern TVs have optical digital out on the back (Toslink) Most soundbars are specifically looking for optical in so based on the info you currently have provided it should work

Thank you for sharing some inputs AV , appreciated..my LG LED TV is 43 inches model LG 5400 and the Phillips soundbar is model HTL2101.. I can't see an Audio out at the back of the TV. Is there anyway i can connect my soundbar.. thanks in advance..

It appears the Model# you gave me for the TV you have may be incorrect? please check it and provide the entire model # thanks
