I have an R9 290, and I want to run 3 monitors.

So in my secondary rig, I currently have a single R9 290, and I am gaming on a single 1080p 144hz 1ms monitor. I am looking to run 3 monitors, and game on ultra, but I am wondering if a single 290 can handle the latest games @ultra settings. If not, would you recommend c'fing? I would do it, but I have never tried crossfire and I have only worked with sli. Thanks!

Are you gaming only one the 1080p screen or did you want to run eye infinity? (Spreads the game across all screens)
If you just want the game on one screen, you are fine. If you want eye infinity, it is no longer a resolution of 1080p. Higher resolution needs more power. I doubt a single 290 can run eye infinity on ultra settings.

I game ultra or close to ultra on a single r9 280, I have 2 displays but the 2nd one is just desktop.
