I have bought a toslink converter to coaxial but I'm getting no sound from my sound bar ?

How to convert coaxial to optical I've got the box but no sound

Some TVs you have to go to the menu and explicitly tell it to "use external speakers" and also there can be a setting nearby for PCM/Surround, try both.

I've tried it and it hasn't worked what am I supposed to do ?

The last thing I'd check make sure that coax is REALLY a Digital Out, there should be ONLY ONE such jack, if you see 2 jacks like a pair, is not digital.
