Dell Inspiron 3521 Query. Want to know why my Laptop overheats when i do normal school work and yes my screen brightness remains at lowest all the time.

A device full of a lot of dust and debris can overheat due to lack of good airflow.

If there are overheating components (which can happen when a part is going bad or has a defect) then that could cause overheating.

Also, if a fan is going bad then that could also cause overheating.
