i have lenovo ip 320. its cd drive is opening automatically whenever i charge it.

It sounds like the sensor in there may be a little off. It happens.

When you close the drawer by pushing on it, you can knock the mechanism out of it correct position. Which then throws off the sensor.

So you would need to be using the button for it rather than pushing on the drawer.

Unless of course yours is a drawer that only works when you push on it (to open and close). If that is the case, then it may be a power settings issue.

1. Go to "Control Panel" and then "Power Options".
2. Click on "Change plan settings", next to the plan you are using.
3. Now click "Change advanced power settings".
4. Here you want to check the settings for the CD/DVD as well as all other settings.

(Reason being, settings changed in unlikely places...
