I have lost sound on my external speakers. Only the monitor spe

Hi, I just did a driver update with Iobit Driver booster 4 and I have lost sound on my external speakers. Only the monitor speakers work now.
This has happened before and the solution was to take the Computer back in time. I haven't done that this time as I reckon that there must be another solution.
I'm using Windows 7 professional.

No problems now, I saw another thread and changed the default in the Control Panel / Sound. It works fine. Thanks misskalypso for a previous response
