ATSC tuners come in many variations and price ranges. Some offer multiple tuners and DVR. Some add internet streaming. These include boxes from Tivo, Amazon Fire Recast, and Channel Master. Whatever you get it has to have an HDMI output so you can get an HD picture. The sensitivity of the tuner will vary too. The more sensitive the more channels you will reliably pick up. The antenna also affects this a lot.

My older tv has hdmi. It’s hi def. isn’t this converter for an analog tv? Seems it has every kind of port except coax.
