Solved! I hooked my pc to the tv and only get backgroung pic

I have a Panasonic TC-P50G25 hooked my HP Pavilion notebook with wi-fi.
I used VGA PC cable. I get Vista logo on start up and a back ground picture nothing else.

Your notebook display is probably in Extended Mode. If you move the mouse to the far right, it should appear on the TV. You'll either want to use "Clone" mode (same programs on both screens) or swap the displays; making your TV the primary (your notebook screen will now be blank).
