Do not know how to import CD library to WD passport to be able to plug and play in a TV. Woud love some help please!

what is the model of the samsung TV? read the manual to see what is supported?

1. Are u sure this TV allows an HD to be used in this manner? not all TV allows.
2. Even if it does, it may not support all video formats.

Samsung doesn't support WMA files.
