I just replaced my sony laptop screen. Now my screen is black. :-(

Hi,

I bought a used Sony laptop that needed a new screen. The original was cracked. I disconnected the broke screen and then connected it back and it was black. My replacement screen came today in the mail and I installed it. It's still black, but I can see it is working. The screen is super dark but I can see words on the screen faintly.

Can anyone give me any advice?

Sounds offhand as though the led backlight isn't getting power, check the cables, if all is connected properly, you'll want to look into an inverter for the backlight
