Hello there, I'm looking for a good 1080p, 60 Fps Camera for YouTube, 18 mega pixel would be nice but not needed. With my complete lack of knowledge I went to best buy and talked to a nice lady who worked there, who told me a Canon camera, would be better than a camcorder.
I'm completely unsure about these things so I thought i'd seek out extra help.

I mostly want the camera to be used for YouTube, on the go. For Skit's social experiments, comedy etc. Whatever your thoughts on what sort of camera I should seek out would be more than great. Thanks for taking the time to read my lengthy question. =)

The Nikon D3300 DSLR can be purchased for $496.95 at B&H Photo (Nikon D3300 with one lens). Nikon has an excellent reputation and would be a good choice.
The kit lens with the camera linked above is a 18-55mm lens.

For $646.95 you can get the same camera from B&H Photo (Nikon D3300 with two lenses) with a 18-55mm lens and 55-200mm lens. That should take care of the zoom issue if the 18-55mm lens does not have the zoom you want.

Amazon:
D3300 with 18-55mm kit lens
Nikon D3300 DSLR Kit w/ 18-55 & 55-200mm VR II Lenses plus 32GB Memory Card and Case Kit
Nikon D3300 DSLR Camera 4 Lens Kit: 18-55mm, 55-200mm VR Lens, 52mm Wide & Tele Lens and 32GB Bundle

You may want to consider, if not now then later, investing in a good tripod as well.

What is the most you are willing to spend? That will help narrow your choices down a bit. As far as a DSLR is concerned most, but not all, have about a 30 minute time limit for video recording. If that is not an issue then you could consider a DSLR camera and you could get one with interchangeable lenses.

Here are some DSLRs that come in between $500 - $700 that record HD video at 60fps
Nikon D3300
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 (no interchangeable lenses)

Some in the $700 - $1,000 range:
Nikon D5300
Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7
Nikon D5500

Prices for the cameras will vary depending on your choice of a lens.

I apologize, my price range is under 600$ which is what im truly comfortable, but up to 1000$ if the camera is a god send that will last me 5-10 years

Edit: I believe I want the interchangeable lenses feature, something with stabilization, and a decent zoom. The camera I viewed earlier was a Canon EOS Rebel SL1 DSLR Camera, which was perfect besides the fact it was only 30 frames per second, and I can personally see the difference. And it bugs me how much clearer 60 frames looks so it's a must for me. =)

I actually have a tri-pod, but the problem is that on the go, in open settings. A tri-pod isn't always the most practical thing, it also brings attention to yourself if you are doing lets say, social experiments. etc. Which is why I'm looking for extra stabilization But I do appreciate the help the D3300 looks more like what I'm looking for.
