I need some advice for making a 4k texture.

Hey, I need some advice I want to make this texture here https/imgur.com/a/UmBX0po look much more realistic like these here https/wallpaperscraft.com/catalog/textures/3840x2160 my image is smaller size like 128 x 128 and thats the image I want to fix is there some tool out there that can make them look like that because I have used photoshop and it seems to not have a good solution mabe its just me but any tools out there that these game dev's use to make this amazing 4k textures for there games that look so realistic.

Okay, would it be a better solution to make your own textures instead of using a smaller texture?

This all depends on what you're trying to do, exactly.

You can make a large image with as much 'detail' as you want.
But a 128x128 image only has 128 pixels across and down to work with. If you try to "expand" that, it will look like junk.

If you take a very large image and shrink it down to 128x128, you lose the vast majority of the detail.

So...what are you trying to do, and why?
