Help with RCA sound bar audio issue

Is a simple matter of matching TV to SB connections. What kind of audio connections are available on both boxes? So you just go Digital to digital (preferred) or Analog to analog, and if can't, buy a converter.

It is hooked up via an optical audio cord tv out to sb in. No sound.
