ICUE is one of the most unreliable and worst apps for anything. It's so bad I and many others actively look for alternatives.

Safest and best bet, put everything on MB headers, let the MB control it or set a custom curve in the BIOS if your MB has it.

You mentioned that it is not good to constantly run a CPU at 80°c as it is bad for the processor. This isn't entirely true. There is a TJmax for temperature usually around 100°c (check your CPU for confirmation). Nothing wrong with playing games at 80c

Undervolting will yield better results with minimal performance loss.
