I want to change my laptop's CPU

Hello!
I have ASUS laptop : Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU B980 2.40 GHz
My laptop have 6 GB RAM , but low GHz , so i need to know what CPU i can place or can i place ? Thanks

Install CPU-Z. After installing it, open it and see if the CPU is LGA or BGA (look next to the processor name). If it's BGA, no you cannot upgrade, if LGA then yes you can.
