I was given a asus V2S series laptop. From powered on all the way in it has two screens. One on top of the other. While a reinstall it had two screens. Even after a reboot. The a reboot it was fine. Thought all fixed. Went to work came back and the two screens are back.

Hardware I'm guessing. What would the name of the display that needs to bereplaced?

is it the same connected to an external monitor/tv?

and just put the exact model number in ebay it should come up with suitable screens

Not connected to anything. It has only it's own screen. No discoloring. of any kind.
