I was using my mobile with 59= battery but suddenly it turned off but not switched on again

I was using my phone with 50 % battery and suddenly it switched off and did not started . I remove the battery and put it on again but it did not started.. I change the battery but nothing worked. what should I do now?

Clean the USB charge port with an old toothbrush and the usb plug that goes into it.

Plug the charger back in and see if it charges ... failing that try another charger.

Also clean the battery contacts with a pencil eraser.
