For laptop , it is. great . Later on , add extra .4GB RAM

The i3 processor might be a bit of a bottleneck. The GPU, on the other hand, seems disproportionally good. The CPU would probably slow down the graphics card. Maybe look for the same model with an i5 processor, for increased performance. However, if you want it as a budget system, it's a very good find.
