i5-6300hq + gtx 1060 vs i7-7700hq + gtx 1050

Hello everyone,
I can't decide between the following laptops, at the same price:

MSI GP62MVR 6RF
i5-6300hq 2.3 GHz (4 cores, 4 threads)
8 GB RAM (i will upgrade later)
GTX 1060 3GB

Asus fx553vd-dm029t
i7-7700hq 2.8 GHz (4 cores, 8 threads)
16 GB RAM
GTX 1050 4GB

Both with 1TB HDD+128 SSD
They are for gaming and collage (engineering) purposes, so games and programs like AutoCad. I know that this i7 is like 15+% faster than that i5, but the 1060 is like 75+% faster than the 1050, so the MSI will have better performance. But this is today. I'm afraid that, in time, the i5 won't be capable of handling latest games anymore. If the weak point is the gpu, I can just lower the graphic settings, but if it is the cpu, I can't play at all.

What do you guys think?

i5 6300hq + 1060. the i5 is a very capable cpu, I have it in my laptop and in school computers, that also run cad, and they seem the same or better has the school's 5th i7 laptops / desktops
